What Even Here is

Even Here is a Christian devotional companion written from an evangelical, Protestant perspective. It offers Bible reading, devotionals, prayer tools, guidance for hard moments and a moderated community.

Not professional advice

Even Here is not a substitute for a pastor, counselor, doctor, lawyer or emergency service. Fasting guidance is spiritual, not medical; talk to a doctor before fasting from food, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or take medication. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the U.S. If you are in danger, call 911.

Your account

You can use most of Even Here without an account. If you create one, keep your password safe and give accurate information. You may delete your account at any time in Profile.

Community rules

• You must be 13 or older to use Connect.
• Speak the truth in love. No insults, harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, selling or recruiting.
• No shaming and no spiritual pressure. Never pressure anyone to attend, give, serve or forgive on a timeline.
• Respect privacy. Do not share someone else's story or details without permission.
• Even Here has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must agree to the Community Guidelines before posting.
• Anonymous posts hide your name from other members, but Even Here moderators can see which account posted so we can keep people safe. No app can promise complete anonymity.
• You can report any post and block any person. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and may pause or permanently stop accounts from posting. Posts reported by several people are hidden automatically.
• Even Here is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call or text 988, or call 911.

Your content

You own what you write. You give Even Here permission to store and display it only as needed to run the app, for example syncing your private entries to your devices or showing your community posts to other members.

Bible text and Even Here content

Bible text comes from the King James Version and the World English Bible, both in the public domain in the United States. Devotionals, reflections, prayers, artwork and design written or made by Even Here are labeled in the app and are owned by Even Here. Please do not copy them for commercial use without permission.

Subscriptions and free trial

Even Here is a paid app. A subscription costs $6.99 per month or $39.99 per year (U.S. prices) and includes every feature. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. There is no weekly plan. Subscriptions are not available yet, and nothing is charged today.

Some things are always free without a subscription: crisis help, opening a Blessing Card someone sends you, our Privacy Policy and Terms, and deleting your account.

At launch, subscriptions will be sold through the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple account. If you don't cancel during the free trial, your subscription starts when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Even Here, try to access other people's data, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Disclaimers and limits

Even Here is provided as is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Even Here is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
